healing can not happen in a body that can not feel
The mind | body relationship is not one easily fostered in our current lives. Stress brought on by basic daily survival has distanced us from this ancient wisdom within our blood and bones. the “SOMA”- our body..is where intuition lies. the gentle force within us all that guides us through life in a way that serves our highest and greatest good. the divine within.
with the use of somatic practices we realign with the felt sensation of having a body. what it means to feel what is being perceived by the Brain. to discover these sensations and give them a name. we are no longer running from or resisting our pain, instead learning how to be with and tend to it with curiosity and compassion. how to identify pleasure and feel when our heart is open to receive. to do all this, first, you must create safety.
this is where sound plays a key role. with the use of specific frequencies and tones we create an opportunity to fully feel relaxed and safe with another human present. to allow the mind to settle and release its grip on the body. I call this the “softening” and it is most certainly a practice. Not to be rushed into or demanded…but allowed. slowly you can regain your sense of self, Creating space within and tools to use, as you navigate your unique daily terrain. Let's come home to the vessel we call our body.
ways to experience sound + somatics
1:1 + Couple’s Sessions
within the quiet of my private studio we will embark on an 90 minute journey, slowly guiding us toward the body. the space is created exclusively for comfort and relaxation and you will be held with the upmost care and compassion. you are required to bring nothing with you except an open mind and clear intention, though a journal is suggested to express thoughts or experiences
we may also bring in the use of breath, gentle movement and touch when needed and with consent

Individual $111 | couple $222
designed to meet you where you are…your next group get together or currently planned event. our journey will last 75 minutes and is meant to be a taste of what individual work looks like. keeping it small and intimate these sessions are meant for 4-8 people. We will include the use of breath and gentle movement if necessary.
all comfort items are provided for, though bringing a journal to express your thoughts or experience is suggested.
